Amoroso has been awarded the new two-story, 40,000 sq. ft. building on Moffett Field, CA. This project consists of approximately 19,000 sq. ft. wet laboratory and laboratory support space and approximately 21,000 sq. ft. of enclosed and open office space, conference rooms, and break rooms. Site work, installation of underground utilities, grading and paving, and site landscaping is also included in the contract.

Some key building features include the following:

• Biosafety Level 2 wet labs with laboratory grade utility systems, such as purified water, instrument grade compressed air, and laboratory vacuum.
• A large number of chemical fume hoods and a sophisticated laboratory exhaust system.
• Support spaces, including procedure rooms, tissue culture rooms, autoclave/sterilization, and controlled environment rooms.
