Amoroso was Awarded the San Francisco Westside Recycled Water Treatment Facility at Oceanside Plant May 9, 2017. The $87.6 million project includes the construction of a new recycled water treatment facility within the existing Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant. The water produced by this project will be used primarily to irrigate Golden Gate park, Lincoln Park, Presidio Golf Course and other landscaped areas. The aim is to save up to two million gallons per day of drinking water that is currently used for non-drinking purposes. In the future, recycled water could be used for toilet flushing in facilities that have installed dual plumbing for this purpose. Completion is projected in January 2021.

"We wish to express our high satisfaction in working with S. J. Amoroso Construction Company, Inc. as the general contractor on our new Clubhouse project. Their level of attention and commitment to our project remained consistent from preliminary budgeting through move-in and completion of the final punch list... S. J. Amoroso made every effort to minimize the impact on our enjoyment of the golf course... We are very pleased with the completed building, which has received ‘rave' reviews from our members." Robert Glockner ~ Chairman, New Clubhouse Committee, Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club
