Amoroso and their Design-Build partners invite trade subcontractors, suppliers, designers and vendors to join us at our outreach event for the upcoming LA Metro Emergency Security Operations Center project. Amoroso Awarded LAUSD Elementary School Project
LAUSD selected Amoroso's Southern California office to build the Colfax Charter Elementary School Classroom Addition project. Construction is set to begin this month.
Amoroso Breaks Ground On Crenshaw High School's Performing Arts Center
S.J. Amoroso Construction Co., Inc. and the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) welcomed staff and students from Crenshaw High School to the May 16 groundbreaking of the new Performing Arts Center and Football Field project.
DaVinci Hall Modernization Awarded to S.J. Amoroso Construction
Modernization includes extensive renovation of the 1962 vintage concrete structure of approximately 65,000 square feet. Includes structural retrofit, ADA renovations, HVAC and electrical systems for faculty offices and classrooms.
Amoroso Awarded $77.7M Northern Branch Jail Project
The County of Santa Barbara awarded Amoroso the $77.7M Northern Branch Jail Project in July 2016. The project consists of the construction of a 138,000 SF, 376-bed jail facility, of which 32 beds are for medical and mental health beds in a specialized housing unit.
Groundbreaking Ceremony for LAUSD Project
South Region High School #8
Los Angeles Unified School District held a Groundbreaking Ceremony on February 21, 2015 for the $75M South Region High School #8 Project awarded to S.J. Amoroso. Located in Maywood, this project is located on a 9.24 acre campus with 45 total classrooms. The completion of this project will relieve overcrowding at local schools and enable the area’s current high school to return to a two-semester calendar for the first time in more than 30 years. Estimated completion is set for Spring 2017.
