Groundbreaking Ceremony for LAUSD Project
South Region High School #8
February 21, 2015
Los Angeles Unified School District held a Groundbreaking Ceremony on February 21, 2015 for the $75M South Region High School #8 Project awarded to S.J. Amoroso. Located in Maywood, this project is located on a 9.24 acre campus with 45 total classrooms. The completion of this project will relieve overcrowding at local schools and enable the area's current high school to return to a two-semester calendar for the first time in more than 30 years. Estimated completion is set for Spring 2017.
