Amoroso is proud to have helped bring San Francisco's first ground-up recreation center in over 25 years to life.

The Herz Recreation Center serves the Sunnydale and Visitacion Valley communities and features an indoor basketball court, a multipurpose room for community events, an outdoor fitness plaza, and picnic areas.

Designed with sustainability in mind, the facility incorporates CLT roof panels and a hybrid system of mass-timber beams and structural steel. Visitors are also welcomed by an interactive public art installation that reinforces the center's role as a community hub.

This project is a powerful example of what collaboration can achieve—and we're honored to be part of something that will serve the community for generations to come.
