Congratulations to Bob Erskine, President of Amoroso's Northern California Operations, who celebrates 25 years with the firm May 19, 2022!

With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Bob Erskine has honed his talent through all aspects of the business. Starting as a Project Engineer with a large national contractor, Bob was exposed to large and complex public projects in various sectors, including education, water/wastewater, transportation, and correctional facilities. During this period, Bob honed his estimating skills under industry experts.

In 1997, Bob set roots in the San Francisco Bay Area, joining S.J. Amoroso Construction Co., Inc. During the beginning of his tenure with Amoroso, Bob negotiated, estimated, and managed a wide range of projects, from mid-rise hotels to waterfront marine and restoration projects.  Bob is particularly proud of his participation and accomplishments with the Piers 1 ½, 3 & 5 and both Sharon Heights projects.

In 2005, Bob was promoted to Vice President, overseeing all aspects of the business: business development, estimating, risk management, dispute resolution, and operations. Under Bob's leadership, Amoroso experienced tremendous growth and industry-leading profitability.

Since January 2015, Bob has served as President of Northern California operations. In his expanded role, he pilots the company's current business strategy through proven leadership and disciplined focus. Bob continues to focus on raising the profile of Amoroso in the region, recruiting top-tier talent, retaining proven management, and developing Amoroso's long-term plan.  Bob has focused on building relationships with various clients that has benefited Amoroso in procuring new and additional projects.

For fun, Bob spends time pitching BP to his son's baseball team, supporting his wife, Jennifer in her many endeavors through the community, and a variety of outdoor sports.  He values the time that he can spend with his family as well as with friendships within Amoroso.
