The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Sacramento Division, awarded Amoroso's Northern California office the contract to build their new $143 million Dept. of Veterans Affairs Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) and Central Utility Plant (CUP) project in Stockton, CA. Construction is set to begin October 2019.
The newly-awarded Dept. of VA project in Stockton, CA consists of building a 158,000 sq.-ft. Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) and 3,300 sq.-ft. Central Utility Plant (CUP). The CBOC will include Primary and Specialty Clinics, Diagnostic and Rehabilitation, and Support Services. The project will also include both on-site utilities and connecting to off-site utilities, constructing roads, sidewalks, parking; site raise for flood plain mitigation, and landscaping.
The project is part of an overall phased campus construction project over multiple years which also includes the construction of a Community Living Center for a bed Nursing Home Care Unit and an Engineering & Logistics Building.
