Norwalk-Youth Correctional Facility Refurbishment

Amoroso served as the General Contractor for the refurbishment of three, one-story prison buildings that had been abandoned for 12 years. The scope of work involved restoring all utilities and bringing them up to code, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire alarm and security doors. The team was tasked with reconnecting all site sewer systems, water, and gas lines, as well for the repair of the electrical switch gear and the backup generator. Additional work included replacing all exterior security lighting and applying new paint.
