Metro Center Street Design-Build

Amoroso served as the General Contractor for the construction of the state-of-the-art operations center that included administrative offices, training classrooms, media rooms and support spaces. Designed as an essential facility, the building will be capable of self-sustaining for 72 hours in the event of an emergency or seismic event, even if all utilities are cut off. It has redundant systems throughout, including emergency power, water, sewer, and air conditioning. If one of the systems fails, the identical second system will sustain the building's functioning on its own.
