Cain Library

Amoroso served as the General Contractor for the construction of a 140,000 SF five-story addition with connections to the existing library on floors one through four. The new library addition is a unique building in appearance with the roof structure sloping at 14 degrees and the north curtain wall having a cant of eight degrees inward. The curtain wall is equipped with blue and white interactive lighting that is activated when a given area is occupied. The fifth floor hosts a piano lounge, additional group study space and staff offices.
