| Project Description |
The project consists of constructing a new two-story Fire Station 31 at 800 San Ramon Valley Boulevard in Danville, California. The new facility will have four apparatus bays, an entrance lobby, gym, decontamination room, turnout room, and mechanical and electrical rooms on the ground floor. The second floor will have dormitory rooms, offices, kitchen and dining area, crew office, laundry, restrooms and a dayroom. The project requires demolition of the existing station and construction of a new station within the existing site limits. The District will relocate the existing fire department equipment and personnel prior to award of this Contract.
*** A pre-bid meeting and job-walk will be held on Wednesday, October 7th, 2026 @ 9:00am. Meeting location is 800 San Ramon Valley Blvd, Danville, CA 94526. This is a mandatory job walk for the general contractors. Subcontractors are welcome to attend.
No other pre-bid meetings or job-site visits will be scheduled.
*** Please be sure to break out your proposal per the "Schedule of Bid Prices" which is part of the bid form found in Section 00 41 13.
*** Prevailing wage rates are required on this project.
*** All bid pricing must be held for 60 days.
