| Project Description |
Major components of "Project Work" consist of exterior and interior renovation to the office building located at 2570 24th Street. Interior renovation to include existing Floors 1, 2 and 3 for a total of approximately 259,000 GSF.
The scope includes, but not limited to, barrier removal of exterior improvements, interior renovations: office renovation, accessibility upgrades, restroom remodels, fire alarm systems, new finishes, owner provided modular systems furniture (MSF), low voltage and electrical distribution, HVAC modifications, door hardware upgrades, selective hazardous materials abatement.
*** A pre-bid site inspection will be held on Wednesday, August 5th, 2026 @ 10 am. Meet at the DMV Headquarters Building West, located at 2570 24th Street, Sacramento, CA. This is mandatory for GC's, but it is always recommended for bidding sub-contractors to attend as well to view existing conditions as applicable to their scope of work.
*** Prevailing wage rates are required on this project.
*** All bid pricing must be held for 45 days.
100% Payment/Performance Bonds may be required from a California admitted surety with an AM Best rating of A- VII or better, as a condition of the contract. S.J. Amoroso will pay up to 1 1/2% bond premium. S.J. Amoroso is signatory to the Collective Bargaining Agreements of the Carpenters, Laborers, and Cement Masons. Subcontractors will be required to execute a standard S.J. Amoroso subcontract agreement and comply with our standard insurance requirements. These requirements are available for viewing on our website at www.sjamoroso.com/bidcenter.htm. A Waiver of Subrogation will be required with all subcontract agreements. All subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Each subcontractor will be required to register and pay associated fees for Textura Payment Management software. Subcontractor fee is .22% of the contract amount. The maximum fee is $5,000.
